Building new friendships

Since I met Juliet, I started to feel better about being homesick because we get together atleast once a month either to my or her house. Sometimes, if Im not with her then, the other Filipino woman take me with her. I started to have some fun with some fellow Filipino. Well, this month Im pretty much expose with lots of Filipino's around here.. which helps me to lessen my homesickness. And I just met yesterday, another 2 Filipinos that lives in Richland I think, though its not so close where I live but that's good enough, all I gotta do is to learn how to drive which is not easy thing. One thing Im glad about my friends here, is they are not back stabbers which the thing that I dont like. Well, it took sometime for me to meet this people, but it's worth it I think, I was just being patient and now finally I have some people whom I can call " friends" here in WA. I have alot of friends but they are all over the US though, but didn't have any here. Hoping to build good friendship with these people as much I did with some friends but now they far away from me..

Headache alternative

When it gets cold in the morning then hot in day time, I noticed that I get headaches too not only on winter and spring season. But I dont really like to take some other medicines other than herbs. Because I prefer to try the alternatives first and if it wouldn't work then, drug medicines to relieve my aches and pains or whatever. And I know alot of herbs for alternatives of drug medicines, because my mom always used those herbs, and it works. But though we cannot find everything as for alternatives but most herbs are there. Thats why the other night I asked my family if they know any alternative for headaches? then they told me that honey is one of the headaches reliever. So I tried it and it is true that it helps most of my headaches. I just take a teaspoon of honey, but I do prefer a pure one but I cant really tell which honey is really pure. But I take anyway whatever kind of honey I got but so far it works for me most of the time. But for some reason there are times that my headache wouldn't totally disappear and thats the time that I just need to take a rest. It's a good thing that I take honey for my headaches because a friend of mine who is a nurse told me be carefull for the pain relievers because some of them could harm our kidney. I also according to the doctor on tv that honey would be good alternatives because some pain relievers have some side effects.. You should try it too and maybe it will work for you.

Still tired

I felt bad last night, I had stomach upset and only I can think causing it is the food I ate, that we just bought from some gas station store when we headed back home from the cabin since it was already getting late and there's no time to cook meal. After I ate the chicken wings and a corn dog, I started to have a heartburn, and made me so uncomfortable, infact I waited till 11pm to get to bed because I was hoping to feel better, though heartburn got better but the upset of my stomach was still there.. And that's what woke me up this morning as early as 5am which is not my regular time to get up.. Sometimes I'd be awake even earlier than that but atleast I could go back to sleep, but this morning my stomach really bothers me. So I just got up and drink a cup of plain hot water.. LOL... that's my favorite to take when it comes to stomach upset.. Well seems like that its working... its a good thing!

Christmas gifts

A friend of mine who was here at the house the other day kept on asking me about the shipping for the boxes for the Philippines. She said that she wants to send it before they go over there so that it will get there before christmas because those boxes mostly contains gifts for her relatives, friends and neighbors for christmas. I was really surprise that she already bought christmas gifts, for the christmas is still several months away. But then I heard that she bought gifts too soon because right after christmas alot of things are on big sale. Thats why alot of people tempted to buy too early for the next event. So I better start to shop for this box that I have too so that I can send it there early also. I think I will also look for religious Christmas cards to give away to my religious friends, and send it together with the package for my family and friends back in the Philippines. It will take few months for me to fill up this box, because I cannot afford too many things at once, so I better start looking for a good deal soon. And hopefully I will get my 10yrs greencard before November so that we can go home and I will just take this religious christmas cards to my family and friends. Because I doubt if it would still look good when we they get after 2months of shipping and in worst scenario, they might not get it because my friends in VA sent 2boxes and didn't get there, that's depressing.. Well.. so far I am successfull in sending boxes over there hopefully I will not encounter the same as my friends in VA.

Wish I could drive

I have been so busy for the weeks, preparing for getting together with our new friends, and going to other places to see friends.. Though it made me so busy but atleast Im happy. Thanks to my very supportive husband, who is willing to take me anywhere, just to see my friends that we hardly see anymore. I know that he is willing to take me anywhere I want to go, but I really need to learn how to drive in the city so that I will not hesitate asking him if there's friends gathering..well I take him with me specially if my friends husbands will be there too, but there are times that it is for girls only..LOL, so I dont have to take him.. Well.. I really need to work on my driving so bad.. because my friend the other day was talking about picking me up everytime we will hang out together,, and I think its too hastle for them because I live out in a country about 30mins drive then they will pick me up just to take to the city where they live? I cant imagine doing that.. but its not a problem from them.. but still i need to learn how to drive for my own sake.

Tonight, im chatting with my little brother. He keep on telling me to ask my husband if he knows how to beatbox? And my husband was like, what the heck is he talking about? Well, he just didnt hear the words before and so am I. So my little brother keep on telling me to go to youtube then give me instructions, but we were so busy trying to figure out our printer, though its not brand new one but we hardly use it. Then after we finally figured it out, I finally listen to my little brother because he really wanted me/us to see the beatbox of this Japanese kid. Then, I went to youtube and search this kid and I am just so amazed of what he is doing. So I showed it to my husband and he was not having so much fun as I did but he said that this kid is good. Hhhhmmm... I just cant imagine my husband doing this beatbox?....HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Last summer when we went to Alaska, we stayed at my sister's in laws house and I noticed her big glass windows with vinyl shutters on it that look so neat. I was so amazed the beauty of Ak, and I was so shock of what I found out that it would stay light outside for almost 24hrs in a day in summer season, which really wondered me. But on the other hand, it would be dark most of the time in winter season too.. and I wouldn't like that because Im sure that I would have anxiety panic.. plus I couldn't handle that super cold weather in winter season. So, I preffer to go there for a vacation on summer time. Anyway, I thought I would have problem on sleeping at night since it's light outside at night, but im glad that my sister in law have vinyl shutters installed on her windows, and it kept dark inside the room like evening dark, and I didnt have sleeping trouble after all.

Then this month we went to Las Vegas NV and stayed at hubby's niece house, again, I noticed her pretty windows with stylish vinyl shutters. The good thing about this vinyl shutter to me, is I couldn't tell the difference between morning and evening once I shut the shutter, so it could really help me to fall asleep tight and not knowing that the sun is way up already. And it could also save some electicity on summer time because it could keep the house cool when you keep it shut.

Hard water stain resolved

I have been having with hard water stains on our sinks, and windows. I have been trying alot of things and nothing seem to really work. Well.. I have always seen on tv that CLR really works for hard water stains for almost every part of your house. So, I was interested to buy it and try, but the problem is we couldn't find it in the store that we always go to for they only distribute it in certain stores. So, I had no idea where to get it. Then, the other day as I went tru all the sunday papers, I finally found it and it was on good deal too for buy 1 get 1 free in Walgreens. So, we went to town right away while the deal last..hehe and bought some more stuff that were in good deals too. So anyway, I tried this CLR yesterday at first it seemed not to work.. so I started to scrub it and oh I cant believe how easy this thing removes hard water stains.. but u just have to scrub it too though. But scrubbing is not a problem for me as long as I can see some good result, unlike using regular bleach, not only stink so bad and also cannot remove the hard water stains.

Well.. so far CLR really worked on the bathroom sink and tub for hard water stain.. and today im going to try it on the kitchen sink and maybe on windows too..

Gorilla auto parts

My husband is unhappy sometimes when he travels to the town to buy parts for trucks and autos, and come to find out that they dont have it, or out of stock. I adviced him try to check online first and see if he will find the parts that he needs, so that he dont have to go to the town, spend alot on gas for nothing. Since we bought, truck, car, and alot more online, so why not find the parts online? Since then he started to look first online before going to the store to make sure that he would waste his time, and you can see alot of choices online too without getting tired of walking. Anyway, online he discovered a New Auto Parts store where he can find alot of parts that he needed that he couldn't find in the other store. Well, I always agree that online shopping is the best thing to do it when you need stuff like parts, or something that you dont have to try on, such as clothes.

Truck cover

My husband likes pick up trucks, in fact he have two of them. He said that having pick up truck is pretty helpfull for him, because he lives out in a country and he hauls alot of stuff, and most of the time he dont need to use the trailer to haul them. But, if there is rain he would get pist because the tarp is not good enough to cover the cargo's at the back, specially if its windy. It would just tear the tarp up and sometimes it will blow away, so it is more hastle. So without hesitation, he installed a bakflip truck bed cover to protect better the cargo's and it will also protect the truck bed from rain when there is no shade/ canopy, or whatever. I can tell that he love having this bakflip truck bed cover because he dont have to alot of work to protect his cargo's.

Rice is very important to me, so first time I asked to my husband before I come over here if is there rice in stores? because I have heard that most Americans dont like to eat rice, so I was kinda afraid if they dont have rice over here..LOL. So anyway, I was glad because the very first day I arrived, I had rice right away thanks to my hubby's daughter. Since then, I found out where I can buy my favorite rice, I buy 25lbs at a time and it lasted around 4-5months. Then, around a month ago, I bought another 25lbs of rice, but then I had to buy some more today because my rice can is almost empty..hhmm I wonder how that happened? I am the only one who eats rice in my house because of course there is only 2 of us. I really couldn't believe that my rice didn't last 4-5months. It's either I ate alot of rice this month, or the rice didn't weigh 25lbs which should of...Well, my husband picked the 50lbs this time and hoping that it would last longer....LOL.

Good home plans

To me planning my dream house is difficult since I am not professional in planning it, though I can tell how I would like it to be done but if I plan it myself im pretty sure that it will not be form as a house. I always thought that if ever I will build a house, I would hire an architect or any professional home designer. I do believe that hiring professional people to do the actual planning could cost so much money. But I just learn that there are some companies now who could help us choose a house plans that we would like for our dream home. I really think that this could help us saving alot of money than hiring an architect or whoever we think that can do or capable to do the job except someone close to us who could maybe give us a better deal. But we should know what design we want that fits to our budjet since building a house is expensive thats why we need to find a great deal as much. Well, I think that it's good idea that we always have a second thoughts/opinion because I do believe that comparing things, could lead us to the better one if not the best. And in that way, we will be happy of the result of what we paid for and live happily in our dream home.

Do it yourself

Eventhough I am not a carpenter but for the past several months I have been doing alot of work inside and outside the house like painting, easy repairs, etc. but if I couldn't handle it, then I would ask help from my husband. Since my husband couldn't see all these improvements that needs to be done, that's the reason why I just do it myself as long as I can handle. It took a long time before I can see the improvements that I would like to happen, though it is not all done yet but I can see that it's getting there, and im proud of all I've done. But there are times that it take such a long time to finish the little spot specially if I dont have the equipments/tools for it. I remember that I had to write a list for the tools for repairs such as concrete nail gun, drill, and more. And im glad that my husband bought me a new tools that I needed, because it helped me do alot of things easier and quicker. Well, im also glad that we bought a good kind because the one that he had didn't last very long, so he learn a lesson to be picky and not to look for the price all the time, for what he thought was cheap could end up cost more because we would have to buy another one when the thing wouldn't function properly.

Well anyway, the more I do alot of repairs the more I learn about repairs too and I would like to learn more so that me and my husband will help each other and do repairs ourselves as much as we can and will be able to save money.

Unexpected moment

We went to Spokane today to see my ENT doctor because it has been around 6months from my ear surgery but we had to go to different clinic because the one that I used to go to was full. Anyway, while, I was inside the audio room my hubby was waiting for me at the waiting area and when I came back I saw a guy standing beside him and a woman who filled up some papers and she seemed to be a Filipino. Then, after she filled the papers, she walked by us when she headed for the bathroom, and according to my husband that she smiled and said "hi" but I didn't notice it because I was reading something. When she came back, she asked me if I was a Filipino, and I answered her and we started talking and so is our hubby's. So I asked her if she live close by but she said that she lives in Tri-Cities which is alot closer to us compare in Spokane. I was so surprised and I was so glad I didn't expect to meet her there. I found out that she is a nurse somewhere in Tri-cities and she had her ear surgery too not too long ago, and she was there for the same doctor as mine. And the more funny thing is, she had left ear surgery which is the same as mine... and she said it was her first time to that clinic too coz she been going to the other one where I always went too. Well, I'm glad because I met a friend today, the time just come even if I dont expect it but God knows im getting so bored and bored and my husband is happy for me, he thinks that they are good people.

Love your pets

I have noticed that alot of Americans like pets, they love them like a family member which is great. But the thing that is bad about having pets inside the house is bad urine odor is the one of the worst thing. When my favorite cat was still around I wanted to take it in the house but my husband didn't agree unless we have pet odor removal that could keep the house smell good. So, I started to look for the odor eliminator so that our poor cat will be able to go inside the house because it is cold outside but the cat was gone by then. I really felt so bad with guilt about it, because that cat was getting close to me. But there is another cat that look a like the missing one but this is smaller, so I picked it up and took inside the house and I didn't have worry about the smell of the urine because I already have cat urine odor remover. I feel little better having cat around because sometimes I feel lonely and the cat would jump on me and give me badtime...LOL but it helps me forget my loneliness though. I think having pets could is a good companion in some ways if you have love for them because they need love too. And im proud of my husband since there are alot of cats in the shop that we dont own but he bought them a special foods and im happy for those abandoned cats because they now have shelter and foods.

Protect your computer

Computer is very important to us because we do alot of stuff online. We always make it sure that the computer that we are using is safe for internet treats because one mistake could screw up everything. When my husband bought me a laptop, I had a free trial of online anti-virus but I lost it a couple weeks ago because I didn't renew or pay for the whole year since it was too high compare to what we are using to the other computers. I tried to download a free antimalware but the thing was useless because it could detect the harmfull treats but it couldn't delete or remove it because they want me to pay for it, well I thought it says free, so I uninstalled the free thing and look for a good network security software even if I have to pay for it now because I dont wanna take a chance anymore. I have heard alot of scams online infact I have been scammed too, so I am very carefull now, in fact I am not using my laptop for this time till I find a good antimalware that will protect my computer and everything that's in it. Just recently my sister's in law's email was hoax and tried to scam all people who are in her friend's list if im not mistaken, she didn't know anything about of course but it's really scary how in the world they do that? I wonder if she have an email server security that should prevent it to happen. Well, I will make sure that Im gonna have it all in a package so that I could set back an relax and not to worry a thing anymore about my important docs/files, information, etc.

Ticket for $144

Well, we finally mailed the payment of my husband's over-speeding ticket when we attended the auction. He wasn't very happy when he knew that he was going to be ticketed for over-speeding and could of cost him more when he didn't have a new sticker of the trailer. Im surprised that the penalty is so high for just over-speeding, well I think it is good too so that people will follow the speed limit and reduce the risk of accident. When husband got ticket I found it so funny, I laugh at him because I have been telling him in a few times not to go very fast because it scares me, but he do it anyway when we are in very remote place specially when we are in a hurry situation. I have been kidding with him that I would laugh so hard and will tell the cop that he did a good job if he pulls him over..LOL, and it happened but I didnt laugh at him in front of the cop though because I didnt wanna embarrass him. But after he got the ticket, I dared him many times to over-speed again..and oh no he wouldn't do it anymore he is a good man since then..well im glad he learned some lesson from the $144 ticket.

Reasonable Rodeo tickets

Since I got here in the US, I learned to love the countryside and love the living in country style. I am also so interested to attend the country events and so I always ask my hubby about Rodeo. Since he have been alot on a Rodeo event and told me alot of stories. Then, I started asking him what it's gonna be like and stuff like that. So one time he look for channels that showing Rodeo, and since then I always wait for the next Rodeo show because I like it and I was having so much fun just watching it on tv and Im pretty sure that it will be more fun in real, that's why I would love to attend one. Eventhough I never been on a rodeo but just by watching it on tv makes me feel so interested to attend. So I talked to my friend about attending the Rodeo and she told me that she already bought Houston Rodeo Tickets for her and her family. So I am kinda jelous because she already have a ticket and will be able to attend a rodeo very soon. So my husband asked his friend if is there gonna be rodeo closer, and yes, there is one and we will go. I was just wondering about the cost of the ticket though, but husband said that it doesn't cost so much and he is so sure that I will like it, and that's what it is all about that you are happy of what you paid for.

Good yet cheap eyeglasses

My mother is having problem to read when she is so near from the words that she wants to read, that's why she didn't want to get so close to those words, I guess she is far sighted. But then her vesion is getting worst and worst so she went to the eye doctor and had her eyes checked, and the doctor didnt find any serious problem with her eyes other than she needs to have reading glasses. She then prescribed my mom a reading glasses. But my mother found out that the glasses that the doctor prescribed her cost too much, and it's way out of her budjet, so she waited to get the eye glasses that she needs to have, till she save enough money.

I feel sorry for my mother because she likes to read the bible alot but the letters are too small, so I started looking for cheap eyeglasses for her and for my husband at the same time, since he has vision problem too. I checked around about the cheap eyeglasses, with good quality that fits to my mom and husband's needs. It is not that easy when you shop for some eyeglasses online because you dont really know the quality. But I could only think online because I found a great deal such as Zenni Optical that offers great quality at low cost. I'm doing these search for my mom and for my husband but I guess I will also benefit because as I kept on browsing it's pages , I found a fashion eyeglasses for women which Im interested with, and because of that I didn't get bored searching for eyeglasses.

Another fun weekend

It has been almost a week since we snowmobiled last, but I just noticed that my back pain just gone. For the past few days I had back pain for the very first time from snowmobilling. And I do believe that it was the funniest snowmobile I ever experienced, because I went so fast up to 50mpr. And I couldn't believe that I was able to do it because I was always scared going so fast but this time that everybody was going so fast, according to my husband that he was going 80mph!... and I dont think that I could ever go that fast.

Anyways, last week we went to the very nice place, and I think it was so good for skateboarding too, not just snowmobiling. I shared the pics that I took to my friend and she was amazed of the sorrounding beauty, and to me it is soo peacefull too, and I would like to go back there next time we snowmobile hopefully.

Prevent junk emails

A lot of people today relies on their computer too much. But computer is not that safe because for all these hackers, viruses, etc. Me and my husband is having problems with our emails, because we get all these junk emails in our inbox folders that supposedly go to spams. We have been so careful with our email addresses and we just don’t know how did we get all these junk emails. We are so afraid to do online business because of all these junk emails, so afraid that we might get scammed again. We asked a lot of friends for advice of what could be the best thing to do to prevent this junk emails? And a friend told us that
email hosting is the best way to do. According to him that he had the same problem like us before, and a friend of him referred him an email host who can took care of his concerns.

Now, he is very happy with the result from email hosting because he can use his email for a lot of things without worrying a thing from spammers. Well, we are happy for him and we better do the same thing so that our email will have more privacy and not so easy to get junk emails that could carry viruses, worms and all that.

In our world today, online dating is one of the easiest way to date foreigners, although it is like risky but alot of online dating turned into real love and success marriage. Im proud to say that I am one of those women who wanted to marry a foreigner and I found him online and married happily. I know it sounds so imposible to know a person's real character just by chatting online or by the phone without even spending time in person, and it is also impossible to check the person's background/history too if she/himself wouldn't tell you the truth. But I feel lucky because dating profile headlines exist which leads me to the real site where I found the very gentleman in my world. I know alot of people who didn't want to get involve with online dating for some good reasons, but when they knew how happy I am with my hubby, then they started to sign up and hoping to found the love of thier lives. Unfortunately, I know some women who are not so lucky about the man that they found online. On my wedding day, my organizer/coordinator which is just my friend too, asked me alot of things that we needed to have for my wedding. She mentioned alot of stuff that I didn't know what it was for, but anyway, I trusted her and I knew she was just wanted the best for my wedding. But one thing she forgot to mention was the wedding confetti, which is nice, to pour to the bride and groom when they walk on the aisle going out from the place where they got married. So, we added the wedding confetti to our list, then she got online and found the company named Artistry in Motion who have alot of different kinds/styles of confetti's, for different occassions.

Country life

I was born in remote island in the Philippines, but I moved into the city when I was around 13 and proceed my study till I graduated in high school. I learned alot of things in the city that I would never learned back in the island where I was born such as chatting, that leads me to the best man in my world. Then I learned that my man lives in out in the country which I am not used to, so I spent much time to think and think, and finally I made the best decission to marry and reside with him in the US but we should spend time in my country too.. to make it fair for both of us. Anyway, I did alot of adjustments here in the States, alot of things are different. Plus, I am not used being alone alot of times, and cannot go no where, when husband is not around, because I have no drivers license first of all, then I dont know where to go, would be nice if I have friends close by. Though I struggled to adjust, but I think I am feeling alot better now, in other words, I think I able to adjust alot of things here. In fact, I now like living out in the country and learned to love alot of country things such as musics, since my husband always listen to the country radio station. Well, Im going to share my favorite country music here. I didn't mind the lyrics of this song but I just love this song unexplainably..LOL.

For me shopping for house furnitures is fun but it's not fun spending money though, when it's not neccesary. Alot of times I get confused which one to pick or what style/design, because they are all looks nice to me except for the price. Sometimes it's not necessary to buy expensive stuff when you can get cheaper one at the same quality, because some of those things cost more because of the brands, which is not necessary to me. But also, we have to pay more when we have too for great quality, so checking it real good is a must thing to do.

When I shop for home furnitures, such as Dining Room Tables, I always make it sure that I get great quality at a very reasonable price. Alot of times, me and my husband bought very cheap stuff and then it wouldn't last very long, just like our couch that he bought at the auction. He bought it because he thought it was great deal, and now we need to replace it because something is broken underneath, and it wasn't too long ago when he bought it. So, I started to talk to him, not to look for cheap stuff all the time, that we also must willing to pay more, if we have too, just to be sure that we got lifetime quality. We may not know so much which one would last so long, but we check around, and ask people we know to have more idea.

Special times

When I was in Alaska, I really enjoyed my time in fishing, grilling, meeting new relatives. The thing I love the most is when I met my new relatives, then we talked alot outside in the patio while we grilled. To me, it was just so wonderful that I had a chance to spent 2 weeks with them and got so close to them and I so miss them.

When we got back home from Alaska, I was then encouraged to have a patio outside. Because I have a friends that wants to come over everynow and then. To me patio is a good place for me and my friends to talk and laugh out loud without disturbing our husbands/others, just like what we did back in Alaska. Women have our own thing and so is men I do believe. Also, I like to go outside the house and do my chores and be able to rest in patio, and dont have to run into the house.

Having patio is not only useful for relaxing, "chica chica" with friends and relatives, it could also add up beauty to our house.

I couldn't wait to have a patio because I have in my mind the outdoor patio furniture that I really want to get. Eventhough we dont have a patio yet but I always look at the outdoor furniture that I like and I know it will look so good and comfortable on the patio.

I have been so tired since this morning, even I didn't do much in the house. So, I thought about taking a nap after I ate lunch. Since I got here in the US I cant remember that I lay around on bed in day time, not even the times when we just got home from the long travel, like from the Philippines.

When I have alot of things to do, seems like my mind couldn't be in peace, my mind want to get things done as soon as possible, but my body refuses. That's I have more like mental stress than physical stress. My brain is so active, even in bedtime my brain will just run like a computer. So, today I thought about resting my brain/mind after I ate lunch, but when I laid around in the bedroom my husband started to put up the blind curtains that we bought the other day and since he couldn't do it all, he always asked my help.. Sigh! Now im wide awake but still tired.

I didn't see very much beautiful houses in the place where I came from, because usually the pretty houses are on the mountains, or in subdivision places. Bad signal

My husband used to complain to me when I was in the Philippines that his internet connection was so bad, because he loose his signal so often and he loose me too when we are talking/chatting online. Even until now that Im already here, we still have the same problem, because alot of time when I am talking to my family back home online I just l loose my connection, but it shows that I am connected though. Sigh! sometimes I get pissed, but what can I do? Everytime we check the connection it will show that we are connected but no signal. It just makes me mad when my signal just quit specially if im talking to my family with important matter.

Another thing I concern is my new laptop that my husband bought for me. Though I have my own laptop now but I still have to borrow my husband's laptop to take to our bedroom everytime my family is talking to me when my husband is watching tv, and the reason why I borrow his laptop is because my laptop is not connected to our internet. I have been trying to connect it but it keep asking for some security thing, but I dont know about it. We thought that our IP will know about that but they didn't know about it, they just said that it should be on the disc for the wireless, whatsoever. Now we dont know what to do..

Comfy outside

I am so glad that the winter here in our area is mild compare to last year. I am hoping so much that the spring is just few weeks away. Because in spring I can spend more time outside the house, and do outside chores.

Another thing I like doing in warm weather, is going out to the beach, swimming in the pool, sit on the patio while watching cars go by, etc.

I really like having outdoor furniture because I can relax and fall asleep easy that way, specially in quite surroundings. All-leather wicker furniture has been helping my mind and body to relax, it is like stress reliever to me for it is so comfy. Having outdoor furniture seating is not only very usefull for relaxing, it can also help save electricity for AC, because I could stay outside under the tree and take a nap, and dont have to turn the aircon on.

That's what me and my family used to do, we also like to take our radio or computer outside, then listen to the religious songs and sometimes, we just like to lay down then talk and laugh out loud. Those are just some of the sweet moments, of me and my family together.

Double bathroom vanity

Few weeks ago I have been talking about replacing our bathroom vanity because I got tired of kept waiting for my husband to get done before I could do my thing. So I did alot of research about the bathroom vanities for the past several days. We went to several stores, but it is too hastle and too time consuming. So I started to look online and I enjoyed it much better because I could see alot more different styles and designs. But I only focused on the double sink bathroom vanity since that's what I really wanted. The more I enjoyed my search online because I found alot of great deals, and we finally decided to buy one of double bathroom vanity, because of the great opportunity.

Now, everything go smoothly, because we dont have to wait for the other one to get done before the one can get in. Now we can do our things together, and to me that I am much slower, is so glad because I dont have to be so hurry on doing my stuff. WEW!!

When I was working on the house, such as cleaning, arranging, etc. in each rooms, I noticed that we needed to do alot of replacements in our computer room and office, like new furnitures, office supplies, and more. Then, I asked my husband to take me to the office supply store to look for the supplies that we needed for the office. And I also asked him about the furniture store, but he told me to wait for the furniture auction, since around this time of the year, the furniture place will have an auction, in fact that's where we bought our bedroom set and lampshade. So I reminded him that he wasn't so much happy of what we bought from the auction because there are some little parts missing.

He finally, listened to me and agreed to take me to the furniture store but first I must agree to look for cheap office furniture only, or the discounted one. We do this to be able to save some money because we still needs to buy much more furnitures. Anyway, I was glad that I bought lateral file cabinets because all the paperworks are now in order, and I feel so much better watching how organized the office/computer is, and I can find the important papers very easily, and it's gonna be easy for me to keep it organized now.

When I decided not to go to my homeland this year, I decided to find a job and will work for a little while hopefully. But before I can do all that, I have to have drivers license first, because most of the jobs are in the city. So today, we went to DMV to get a driving guide, as a very first step, but they're out of it. Actually my husband already got me one before I got here but I couldn't find it anymore. Anyway, I have already drove the car by myself for a few times for some important reasons. First time I drove my car by myself when my husband had to get his scrapper from the shop and took it to the house. I was so scared driving by myself, I was really hoping that there will be no cop, but it didn't take very long there was cop coming, and all the cars behind me pulled over, and I started to get scared because I really thought that he was after me since he had his blue light and siren on. So I pulled over, and acted so relaxed and pretended that I was ready for whatever questions, and that cop slowed down when he got closer to me and he looked at me and he stopped in the other side of the road and turned around, and went back where he came from... I couldn't believe that it happened like that. But Im sure glad that I never got questioned, and will have bad record already, that's what I was afraid of.

Well, that was just one of my experienced driving without WA driver's license, though I have Philippine Driver's License but I know it wouldn't work here, so I better start processing my WA driver's license.

Steak eater

My husband love to eat steak so much, that's why beef steak or other cut of beef was used to be in our list everytime we go to the city to shop for food. And driving to the city is really time consuming because we are around 30miles away. There were times that we just had to wait if we needed more groceries or other things needed to do in the city before we go, to save some time and gas.

Months ago, he learned from a friend of his that he could buy steaks online, so checked it out and sure enough, he found his favorite steaks and much more good foods too.

Buying steaks online is really convenient, and just by one website, he found lots of choices. He even tried the kobe beef which he thought that he wouldn't like, but he was so surprised for the taste was soo good. And it has always been fun and easy waiting the steaks by mail, and I think it helps me manage our time easier because we dont have to think about spending a whole day in the city, and we also dont have to worry about the steaks quality because the great quality is guaranteed.

When I was in elementary, I moved in to the city with my brother and sisters. My sisters then sent me to school and they paid for it. And since money was tight, they told me to look for used textbook that I can use in school. And I did found used one and they paid so much less than a brandnew one. It was very great deal because there was no difference with the brandnew textbooks, except that they paid so much less.

Now that I'm paying for my younger brother's school, I have to find a way to save money somehow, because private schools are costly. So, the other night my husband and I was talking about that we need to tell my younger brother to look for some cheap textbooks before the classes starts for this year. We are thinking ahead for his college, and we know that it will be alot costly than high school. So we want him to start looking for cheap college textbooks to be able to save some money, and it would be great if he will find a used college textbooks so that he can ask for better deal since it is used one. And I guess I'll also help him to search those cheap textbooks online.

Based in my own experienced, it is not necessary to have a brandnew book as long as it is the right book. I would preffer a used one because as I have said it can save us alot of money.

Great for collections

I grew up in an island where seaweeds, corals, fish, crabs, and much more are so abundant. I really missed my lifestyle back in that island. That's why I am thinking about collecting seashells, and other seafoods, either pics or in painting, or whatever, as long as they are sea products. Me and my friend even bought a pattern for a "Sea Shell Seeker" since it is the best fit or best defines our childhood lifestyle.

Back home, it has never been difficult to collect all those I mentioned above, but I never try to do it because I didn't really give much value those things, since I didn't think that it would be a big deal that I would have different lifestyle here in the US and I will miss those things.

Last time when I visited a friend in Oregon, I was so surprised because she had alot of collections that can be found in the Philippines. She even had live coral in her aquarium that looked so amazing and I do believe that I never seen like those back home. She told me that she searched it online and picked the exotic one, and she is really happy with it.

I have noticed that alot of men and women here in America likes to drink coffee, and my husband is one of them. He loves to drink coffee so much and he can only drink 5 cups atleast. I always tell him that he better drink more water than coffee, but he doesn't listen, oh well, it's alright as long as he is happy. And im so glad that he have bean to cup coffee machine because I dont have to get up early in the morning and make coffee for him, because bean to cup coffee machine makes it easier to make. Anyway, I dont know how to make coffee because I dont like to drink coffee except, if were are traveling and we are out of water then, I have no choice but to drink his coffee too.

For the past few days, I was able to went out the house and did some cleanings, and I enjoyed it so much. Staying inside the house all the time is too boring, and I was glad that it wasn't too cold outside the other days. I wonder if this is just mild winter compare to last year's winter, because last year we had few inches of snow at the house, but not this year. It only snowed one time and it wasn't much either. Well, im glad that it is not so cold because last year, I still felt so cold even inside the house even with the heater is on, but this year I feel warm or hot sometimes. But today, it is cooler outside, and I cannot do what I wanted to do or finished what I started. I wanna start pulling weeds where I planned to plant some flowers while it is still easy to pull. It may sounds funny if I start taking care of the lawn and prepare the place for my flowers too early, but I have to do it ahead so that we will be able to plant right away once it'll start to warm up.

My husband have some heavy equipments and trucks, and it is important for us to know the parts and its function, so that we will know the problem if we encounter one. That's why I thought that going to auto diesel mechanic basic course will be helpful to me, but I admit that I didn't learn anything. But, I still think that it would be cool if I would know about engines parts. So, I asked my husband a few times of things related to trucks, heavy equipments, and it's engines, but he only told me so little at a time. Well, I have another option, and that is going online and search about things that I want to know, but alot of times I dont know the key word for my search. But anyway, as I did my search I figured that it is not only important for me to learn the parts and its functions but it is also important to know the modern systems. I learned that it is valuable to add a performance chip to the trucks/vehicles. Because it allows you too optimize your air/fuel ratio, since the main purpose and goal adding performace chip is to gain more power and gas mileage while still maintaining engine realibility.

Air intake has also important function to the engine and is classifies as cold air intake which used to bring lower temperature air into a car's internal-combustion engine, to increase engine power and efficiency and warm air intake is a system to decrease the amount of the air going into the car for a purpose of increasing the fuel economy of the internal combustion engine. There is also other popular for performance enhacement and that is the cat back exhaust systems.

It is nice for me to learn these things so that I can share it with my hubby, who probably already knew these.

Fun weekend

Snowmobile is one good hobby in winter time for me, unless I get stucked. I have experienced that I got stucked and being throwed away from my sled, and I said to myself that I would never snowmobile anymore but my mine has changed last saturday, me and my husband decided to snowmobile for a while. So we drove 2 and 1/2 hrs to the cabin and snowmobile for 20miles I think. And I had so much fun this time because I didn't get stuck and everything went great. I had more confident to drive my sled faster up, but I'm still chicken when it comes to stiff hill. Talking about stiff hill, my husband wanted to go down to the not so stiff hill for him but it is for me, so I refused to drive my sled down there so my husband leave his sled up hill and he drove mine, and I rode at the back.

When we got down the hill, I saw this 2guys and a boy who's around 9yrs old maybe. And I couldn't believe that this boy rode his own sled...hu hu hu whatta shame for me because I couldn't drive mine down the stiff hill.

But anyway, I had fun snowmobiling, I maybe so called "chicken" but my husband is there to rescue me if he can, so I am still thankfull.

A Dollhouse

There are alot of kids out there who wishes to have a dollhouse. On my childhood, I also experienced that I wanted it. I remember that I went to my friends house and asked them if they are willing to participate in creating a dollhouse? Playing a role as a mother of a baby doll was our favorite game the most. When we agreed to do something, we do it differently because we simply couldn't afford it such as creating a dollhouse. It took us few weeks to built that thing but we had patient because we wanted it so bad. And when it was done, we felt so proud eventhough we didn't have much in it but we were still happy.

Now that Im grown up and know things better, and then I look back on alot of things that I did when I was a child, I really wished that I did better but that was all we could do, I could wish but couldn't have it.

I still have a desire to create a dollhouse but it wouldn't be mine, it'll be for my 4 nieces. I know that they really like to have a playhouse and because of that I also know that they would like the dollhouse.

In creating a dollhouse is a difficult task, it is like creating your own home. We have to start from the very beginning, such as planning the design inside and outside. Then, next step is look for furnitures and more. That's why we must have patient or else we will just drop a good plan. Anyway, online I searched for dollhouse miniatures and I found a place who has it all. I find myself having so much fun in browsing the miniatures. I cant keep eyes from these super cute furnitures. When this dollhouse is done, it will be like a fantasy for my nieces having all these miniatures. That would be something that they cannot forget in their childhood.

Beauty of Corals

When I was little girl, I used to go with my parents and friends to our seaweed farm out in the ocean. I remember that I always brought my goggles with me because I like to see under the ocean.

I really miss those moments, for I am not able to do it anymore for like 10 years. But I have plans to go back in the island and go out to my parents seaweed farm and so that I will see some corals there if God permits or maybe me and my husband will do scuba diving, that would be so fun. I really like to watch the amazing corals. But for now, I dont think I will be able to do scuba diving and stuff like that. Maybe I should talk to my husband about buying an aquarium and put sea water if possible and look on coral for sale . I think it would be so cool having an aquarium and buy coral to put in it. But as I search about the corals online, I found out that it's little bit costly but Im not really surprise because I think it really worth it. And I like WYSIWYG coral the most because of its own natural beauty it look so amazing to me. I cant explain how happy I feel watching them.

But for now I will do more search, and will look for good deal and compare prices and best of all the insurance of the product that I buy. Specially when we buy corals, for it is really sensitive we want to get them the the way we expected so insurance is really important role too. I always choose the company who guarantee the insurance of the product, and so far I never have problems about shipping stuff.

New Plan

It has been little over a year since I got here in the US but Im thinking that I really didn't do much. For the past few days I got really depressed, bored etc. and I decided to find a job because it is really hard to get over all these emotions. But there are alot of things in the way, like getting my citizenship, plans to stay in the Philippines part of the year or longer, it really made me confuse. And as I asked my husband if we will be able to stay over in the Phils this time and he said not yet because there are still alot of things that we need to take care here and we dont have so much money yet to be able to do all the things that are in his mind to do when we stay there that long. He said when we go this year we may stay 1 month again and or little longer but I think I better find myself a job hopefully, while we are waiting for few things. So, I let my family know about my plan and they were kinda sad but they said do what I think is right but also my mother is worried and according to her I should wait till 1 year since my surgery, she dont want me to get so tired and be sick again. But I told her that I will be fine I will seek a job that is not so difficult to handle... So that's my new plan and I will leave it all up to God if He permit it or not, He knows the best.

Bathroom Vanities

My husband and I agreed to put in our list to buy a bathroom vanity since the one that we got is getting mold and it started to crack too. I definitely would't let him buy the same kind because it is not a good one at all.

Few months ago i started to look for the bathroom vanities and I found the kind that is like my sis-in-law's and I really like it. It looks absolutely cute and really neat but it's little bit costly. Anyway, we do have single bathroom vanity but I think we need to consider to look for the double bathroom vanities because alot of times, I have to wait for my husband to get done brushing his teeth, shaving and stuff like that before I get in and do my thing. This is one thing I dont like about having single bathroom vanity. I dont like doing my deal in so hurry to catch up my husband when we are leaving the house. I want to be able to do my make ups in comfortable way, not always in a hurry mood.

Since we need alot of things to buy, we put aside the bathroom vanity deal, because we are waiting for the bathroom vanity clearance, because we cannot afford to buy all the stuff that we want at once, so we have to wait for the clearances and buy one at a time.

Cheap Tumble Dryers

I miss washing clothes clothes by hand and hang them on the line after washing to dry them. But here in the US I have only seen once, that clothes hang on the line. People here uses dryers to dry clothes for easier and quicker way. And I kinda like the idea of using dryers because I can make my other chores while Im drying the clothes.

My husband is really happy with the dryer we got because it is inexpensive dryer and it works really good. He told his friends that he didn't pay much of his dryer at all so if they need a new dryer just look for Cheap Tumble Dryers because he thinks that they will appreciate the quality and price with it. Since it is only cheap dryers but it doesn't mean they will get cheap quality because my husband proved it himself.

So I showed it to my husband and he tried to look for the guys phone number but he didn't find it. But he still pushed me to sign up. I argued for little bit but he had a good reason for me to sign up. His reason was " it is only a dollar" it cost nothing compare if we make the money that those liars was talking about. But anyway, I signed up and they give me so complicated intruction on how to make money and clicked on the agreements.

When I found out that it was just a scam, I blamed my husband because he told me too sign up. And the worst thing is they charged more after they charged the dollar one. In our statement it showed that they charged 68 dollars, and husband called them and they just said that it is a part of agreement,, whatta scammers!! And this month we got a second bill for the same amount from the same outfit. We need to call the credit card company again and if they still wouldn't do anything about it we will cancel our cards.

Though we learn a big lesson from that scam, it doesn't that I will not check out another offer to make money from home. There are some out there that are not scammers just like InvestmentForge, where we can invest and also make money online. I know finding a real company online that are not belong to scammers can be so difficult. That's why we have to check them out real good. But I would prefer investing online than working from home deal without knowing the job in advance because we do online investing and we know it is not a scam unlike working from home, it's way far from the truth. But there maybe few companies that you can trust but the question is " who are they?" I know one thing I have learned is dont get too excited from the unimaginable stories from the people, the so called too good to be true.

Sinus Headaches

This week I had 3 sinus headaches which was so bad because I wouldn't feel better unless I vomitted. The last attacked was just last night. I know they are sinus headaches because I only get them when I go out in cold weather. Eventhough sometimes I care to cover my nose with handkerchief but sometimes I forgot to cover my nose, then I would realize that there is a big chance for me of getting headache either the same day or by the next day. I am getting so tired with this kind of allergy, I'd rather have food allergy than sinus allergy. I never had sinus allergy before I come to the cold world. That's another thing why I dont like cold, though it is unusual to me but I suffer bad headaches. Well I remember that I had bad headaches when I was little girl, but it caused by skipping meals and exposed to much under the sun. And I haven't had headaches since I started avoiding those things. But this sinus allergy is one thing thats is difficult to avoid, it will attack me even I covered my nose sometimes but I know covering my nose and head helps alot. I hope and pray that I will recover from this allergy because it is really burden for me.

Short term insurance

Insurance is one thing that we should have to protect ourselves/properties. Shopping for insurance is a difficult task because some insurance well turn you down when you need them the most.

Base on our own experienced last year that we had an accident with the semi stopped in the intersection and we hit the semi's tail because it was on our way and my husband wasn't able to completely stop because it happened to quick. So we claimed the loss to the insurance company but then they didn't protect us because the other company said that it was half of our fault and they will only pay half of the cost. We knew for sure that it wasn't our fault, so my husband fought our insurance company and finally they paid the other half. But they kept saying that half of it was our fault. So my husband thought about finding another insurance company, the one will be there for us and will investigate the problem further. Maybe short term insurance is the best choice for us at this moment. It is hard to drop the insurance company that are in for so long, but if they dont do their job then no reason to keep them. You choosed them, meaning you trust them specially by the time that you need them the most.

So, if the long term insurance doesn't work for us, we always know that there is always short term insurance.

Good Beds

Do you believe that good beds can give you a good sleep? Well,, I would say no and yes. I said no because I am used to sleep without a mattress and I had always good sleep but I also said yes because alot of people who can afford to buy beds cannot sleep without having a good one. Just like when I took my husband to the island where I grew up and I let him sleep on the bamboo bed and oh, he just kept on moving, switched side alot, tried to make himself comfortable but he just couldn't be comfortable because he didn't have good bed, poor guy.

Now, here in the US I think we have a good bed because I just dont know any better I guess. But my husband is always having back pain and he is blaming it on the bed. Well, I guess we need to look on the best beds somewhere again and see if he will feel better. Because both beds that we have he gets back pain, airbed or regular one. Though he like this last one that we bought because it is better than the other one but I can tell that he is still not so comfy. I hope that his back pains is just because of the bed not anything else.

Well anyway, it dont matter to me if have the best or the worst bed because I used to sleep without a good one. But I know that there are alot of people out there would always consider a good beds which is a good choice. Having good stuff is always a good choice specially if they cost less.

Warm winter

It is winter time and yet it is little warm outside. It has been 3 days now that I noticed that it is warmer outside.. I can go out without a coat on and I just love it. I am wondering if am I just used to it or it is just warmer this winter? Hhhhmmm... either way Im enjoying the weather this time than last time but I heard from alot of people that last year was really cold compare to the past winters. But I didn't know any colder because I know it is cold here specially last year was my very first experienced in winter. I have been telling friends back home that the cold weather made me homesick, I just wanted to soak myself in warm water all the time. In fact I have been telling that to my friend in the Philippines who is now in Alaska that she better be prepared for the weather in Alaska, because I heard from my husband that it could get down to -50 over there. And my hubby was right, now that she is in Alaska she said that it is around -40 well close enough of what my husband said and I just cant imagine myself being in that very cold place. I even complain how cold it is here in WA and yet this is nothing compare to alaska. And Im really surprise this time because I couldn't remember that I experience this warm in winter last year, we might have but I just cant remember. Our current temperature is 53 degrees and it is -20 in Fairbanks right now where my friend is at.. Hu hu hu... soo cold there "TALAGA!!"

We need a fence

Putting up a fence is not only good for protecting our yards from the wild animals, also it can add up beauty to our yards. I have seen alot of nice fences sorrounds the pretty houses, and it really looks so neat. And to me it give us more privacy of our properties. I asked my husband a few times about maybe putting up fence but he explained to me that there is certain spot that we cannot put up fence because of the circle of the farm, it could hit the fence and break it since the end of the lawn is right close to the farm. So when we put up a fence we will just do the front yard.

We haven't shop for fence yet but there is good news if you live in San Diego because San Diego Fence Company is the best place for you to go obviously for your fence. It cannot be so easy in choosing a company to take care of our property, we need someone that we can trust and maybe be there for us in anytime that we need them and not leave us with a mess.

Anyway, putting up a fence in our yards is also very important if you have kids and specially if you live along the road or in the middle of the city so that kids cannot scape while you are doing some things in the house. So we may consider having a fence for your own good.

Every special days of me and my husband, I always feel guilty because I have never give him anything as a present. I do like surprises, but I couldn't do it at this moment that Im still depending on him about driving. So anywhere I go he is always with me and will always be if I couldn't drive myself. I have been thinking to get my license but I haven't start it yet I guess I have to get a permit first. Eventhough I already drove to the town by myself twice, but I guess it was illegal without WA drivers license and I'll never do it again for I dont want to go to jail eventhough I have Philippine Driver's License but I found out that it wont work. So anyway, I need to get a license really bad to be able to drive in town or city without bugging my husband so that also I can start giving him some surprise gifts. My girlfriends somehow got their husbands a personalized mugs and it really look so cute and romantic. Well, I have always been thinking about that too but I never did get one because first of all I was in the Philippines and hubby was here in the US, then now that Im with him I couldn't drive and I have no idea where to get it done. But I want to check it out because I think it is soo cool having me and my husband's faces on the mug or whatever design I can think, something unforgettable. In fact it would be nice if I'll give my parents a personalized mug too, because I dont think they have ever seen one. Feeling better

Right now I am talking to my family through yahoo messenger voice-chat. I feel so good to hear my family, and I also could hear the rooster in the background which makes me feels like Im just home. I also hear the TV because my niece and nephews is watching it and while their favorite cartoon program is is not started yet they come on the computer and talk to me.

I'm having so much fun right now talking to these 5 and 3 yr old kids. They are telling me some crazy stories that just tickles my belly I couldn't stop laughing. But this is not like every time I chat with them because most of the time that I chat with my family the kids are still sleeping, because we always talk early in the morning.

Im sure glad that my mom's gotta internet because I could just chat with them anytime I miss them... or whenever is the best time. It really helps alot of my homesickness.

Busy Days..

Im so excited knowing that my friend is coming over but Im not really sure when they will be at the house. According to her email that they will be here in WA the 12th but I understand that they will not be here at our place yet because they have to rest and it will take so many hours for them driving to come over.
Im doing alot of preparations, moving, etc. to our other available room so that they can stay in one of the rooms. I am so busy I even forgot to eat. But I would be so glad if they will stay longer this time so that I can chat with my friend alot!. It is so different chatting with our friend online and in person. I will definitely enjoy my time with her, and share alot of stuff!!!

Big day

I just got home from the city. I knew that today is gonna be a big day because we planned to shopped certain stuff today. I so enjoyed shopping at the mall with mah step daughter. I just couldn't believe discounts that they offer. I never shopped back in the Philippines with such 70% discount. Im happy that I finally experienced shopping with the BIG discounts. I bought a dress, a pair of shoes, sweater, bedsheets, comforter and more and I saved $188 in just one store... whatta great deal!

On the way home, we did a few stops and got more stuff. I was really sleepy in the pick up I didn't like to talk, and husband kept on asking me what if what was the matter? And I just told him that I was so tired and he told me that he dont want me to get tired so quit the shopping thing....hahaha... how funny.. he used the nicest word.

Anyway, the main thing is Im happy that I experienced shopping with 70% off.. and thats a great great deal..

Movies

Back in the Philippines, I didn't really care about tv/movies because I could find alot of things to do for fun. But it has changed when I got here in America beacuse I get so bored alot of times when Im just in the house and Im home almost everyday. So I learned to love watching tv. I choose to watch movies alot at night time after we ate dinner and when I have nothing else to do. But I also call my husband to watch with me because I still get bored when I watch by myself. But sometimes, he doesn't like the movie that Im watching, because I do like to watch drama, romantic and something like that and he want western movies, so we just forgive each other to avoid the fight....LOL. It's a good thing that I found movie torrents because I can choose the movie that I want and there are alot of choices of good movies that we can enjoy. Another good thing about it, is I can watch my favorite movies when Im not home, wherever I maybe. It's amazing how handy the new technologies now because wherever and whenever we at we can do almost the same thing that we like to do at home. And Im so glad that I got this new laptop from my husband so that I can get online anytime anywhere.

Metal Roof

Roof is one important thing for the our house/shelter. House couldn't be complete without a roof. In choosing a roof is not that quick because some roofs could get molds and there are some other problems too and you will ended up changing it so often just like the kind of roof that we had. My parents got so tired of replacing them, because they bought cheap roof. Finally, I suggested them to consider the Metal Roofing. I like the metal roof so much because it look so pretty and neat in my eyes. My parents are so happy with it too because they dont have to worry about about the black mold that just grew on our old roof like a wild grass. Without hesitation I told my friends about the advantage of the metal roof. They all agreed with me because they can see our pretty and neat roof. Another thing that I like about metal roofs, it has so many colors, you can pick the color of choice that can add up the beauty of your home.

Little over half mile walk

For me exercise is really important, it can help alot of our health. Walking is the simpliest exercise you can do. Back in the Philippines I did alot of exercise so called Aerobics. I really enjoyed it because I just did at home by following video from a dvd disc. Even my family, participated it too specially the kids, they so much fun. I do like exercise not intending to loose weight because I am already tiny woman, but I do this for good health. But I forgot my aerobic disc in the Philippines and Im not also bothering to look for another disc. But Im glad that my husband have a treadmill and other exercise machine. I kept telling him that we both need to get on those machines and do daily exercise. And so far we just started just the other day when he found out that his blood pressure is little high,,(good isn't?) kidding. But anyways, Im proud to say that I am able to get on that thing for 15 mins with slow speed for normal walk and walked for little over half a mile and burned 130 calories..wew good. My hubby wondered why I only walked for little over a mile for 15mins? Well the key word there is "SLOW". I dont care if Im slow as long as I am confortable of what I am doing. Wink!

It happened that my husband and I were talking about the funny experienced of mine in the middle of the forest in South Dakota.

Last summer we drove all the way from Texas to home, we left tuesday noon in TX we got home Sunday night. But we stopped too though on some states and see a tourist spot just like the mount Rushmore in South Dakota. I got scared because we drove into the forest and I think there's nobody there but us, was worried that we might encounter problem with the car while we were there. We drove for like 1-2 hrs in the forest, and the road was mostly curved and it made me dizzy. While we were enjoying our ride...lol, I saw this thing that looks like a horse, I thought it was a wild horse. I am so scared about wild animals because they might be dangerous. My husband stopped, and rolled my window down so that the animal could get closer and oh, the animal was on side too. That animal started to walk towards my window and look inside the car,,, and I was soooooo scared that he might bite my head off....LOL! Honestly I cried, and kicked the door while I was trying to go to my hubby's side and my husband just laugh because all that animal wanted was a pat....WEW! Im sure that my lips turned into white for that scary thing (I thought). My husband called that thing a "wild jack ass".

We finally got to the Mt Rushmore but we didn't see the Mountain though because it was soo foggy even in summer time or the time we were there anyway.

Somebody broke into the house for the past couple years, I was still in the Philippines that time. My hubby was gone for just an hour for he went to the coffee shop and joined his friends. He really couldn't believe that they were able to take the safe for it was so heavy. Fortunately, he got his laptop back but not the passport and other important documents but he never find out who did it.

When we went to the Philippines, he made sure that he hide the very important stuff just incase. But now, he couldn't find the car key, which he hide really good. He keep on asking me if where did he put it? HHHmmm... I find it so funny because Im the most forgetful one, I dont even trust my memory. He keep telling me that he showed me where he put it but all I can say is "I dont know". Until now, he still not sure where did he put it car key. Well, he must hide it really good, because he even couldn't find it.

Home Improvements

I have been doing alot of things that could make the house looks better. My husband really didn't want me to paint the walls and ceilings but I did it anyway because I want some improvements of this house. I dont care if I do alot of work in the house, anyway I will do it the way I want it. It has been a long time I have been trying to do these improvements and Im not done yet.. I have so many things in my mind that would make the house looks good inside and outside. I know it will take alot of money to do all these things that are in my mind which I think that needs to be done in this house... but we gonna do it slowly. And I am happy to say that there are some changes now but not so much really but atleast I can see the result of what I did.

Since I already did the painting, my next move is to move in to the front bedroom and make it our bedroom. We bought curtains for it but we forgot the metal wall hooks so we could put it up. But now that we have friends coming in the middle of this month, then we must moved in there so that our friends can use our bedroom now. We need to buy a mattress first though and then more curtains for the whole house, but I will put in priority that bedroom and make it nice hopefully. I told my husband that I like to choose the decors for the house since he really doesn't care. I know all these cannot be done right away but Im looking forward to get it done and Im excited to pick the stuff that I want for this house.

Im bored!

It's only been little over 3 weeks since we got back home from the Philippines but I really really miss my family already. I feels like my vacation was just a dream. There are alot of time that I cannot stop thinking about them, and the sorroundings...specially when I have nothing to do and alone.. But I always think about what my oldest sister said " just think that your coming home very soon so that you'll excited everyday" and thats what I am trying to do when Im bored. That's why I dont like being alone because when my brain is vacant alot of things would just come to and sometimes it makes me anxiety. I just love to listen to music, and I turn the radio really high so that it is not soo quite...But it is alot better on summer time or the time that is not cold so that I could go outside and do alot of things such as cleaning, gardening. Oh I miss being out in the garden.. and enjoy the produce! Looking forward to do gardening again when it starts to warm up,, cant wait for spring for Im getting soo bored inside the house almost everyday.

Worry

I am a worry worth as what my husband said even on the little things that nothing to about. Which I slowly overcoming such emotion, but at this time I am really worry because I cant go to the bathroom for a few days now. This all started up in the cabin last thursday that when I went to the outhouse (other name of CR)then I couldn't go because I am scared, that there might be something down there and would me. But even when we got to the house I still couldn't go, and I hardly remember that I felt like it. I always feel like my stomache is empty even if I just ate. When I told my husband about it, he is started to worry too. So, he gave me something for fiber and I also had candy type that's for fiber but man, I always forgot to take those daily. And now, I put 'em on the counter right infront so that I would see 'em the very first. I hope that this will work.

He Kept Me Awake

I would say that falling asleep easy is one of my problem, because when Im on bed and ready to go to sleep, my brain just travel so far and fast. When my brain get tired thinking, I will start feeling sleepy (weird). But there are some reasons that I couldn't fall asleep so easy or I could't sleep at all. Just like the other night when we were up in the cabin. I was tired and waiting to fall asleep, but my partner is SNORING so loud, sounds like speaker right next to my ear. All I did is watching him, and then I started to giggle because I thought he looked funny and he did it on purpose because when he is awake he will snore with face combination..LOL.. really funny! But since, the bed up there is an air bed it woke him up when I giggled because I was bouncing the bed..LOL. I told him what happen and then I went downstairs to sleep on the couch since he snore so loud and I just wanted to have some sleep because it is already 4:30am. Downstairs I think I fall asleep but then it was so cold, the stove needs some woods and it woke me up again.. so I went upstairs and told him coz he is wide awake anyway and let him take care of it. I was glad that I was able to sleep 5hrs that day, started probably 5 and up by 10. But it is still different when I slept good at night not in the morning.

My hubby is the number one in my list as a kind man. Eventhough he jokes alot but he have such a big heart for those in need. Just like the other day up in the cabin, we forgot our eggs so we drove to the store and on the way we saw a pick up that got stucked on snow, but we didn't stop because there was a guy who already stopped to help. But when we went by again the pick up still there, so my hubby offered help to him. And I was worried that we will get stuck too, but we didn't and also we were able to pulled out the pick up from snow.

When we got to the cabin our neighbor was plowing snow on our drive way and parking lot. I thought it was so nice of him. He is very kind person, just like my hubby. It's good to do things for others and dont expect any payment, help back or whatsoever, because God knows what we are doing.

Snowtime!

When we went up to the cabin last thursday, I was really excited because we're going to snowmobile again, but my husband didnt feel that good for his back was hurting in fact still hurting now. Anyway, when I needed to go to the comfort room/ outhouse I had to shovel some snow for the very first time to make walk way for the snow was around 2ft high. I didn't my bother my hubby to shove snow, for I understand how he felt. It was fun shoving snow at first, but my arm was getting so tired and wanted to give but I couldn't give up, I had to do it or else I cant go to the outhouse.

Well it was a good experience for me..

I grew up in the Island where electricity doesn't exist. Back there I didn't know any better about new high technologies stuff but we were still happy of what we got though. And now that I am here in the US I learned more and more about new high technology stuff which I never have use before and I learned to adopt things around here. I did alot of adjustments for myself here too, such as culture and climate that I have hard time to adjust. But I think I am getting more used to it because when we went to the Philippines, right after I got out from the airport, I thought it was hot really. But I wasn't complaining I was just surprise how I felt. Since then I know that my friend, everytime she visited there she always told me that it is very HOT!

My hubby also dont really like the hot there, but we rented a place with aircon so that he can sleep at night. Then, in the apartment I noticed that the aircon is not working good and hubby said that something's matter with AC compressor, so we called the maintainance and he confirmed the AC problem. But it's a good thing that the land lady acted really quick to fix the problem. I know that airconditioner is one of things that's very important to my husband because he's used to cold weather. And, I am kinda used to cold too but I could live without aircon though but he cant. That's why when we look for some place to stay there for a month or whenever, first thing I asked if they have airconditioner. My husband must have aircon, either at home or car exept jeepney, but sometimes he joke with my sister since she owns a jeepney, he asked her if where is the aircon? So everybody in my family knows that he likes cold, because they think that airconditioned is cold, LOL.

While I was talking to my family last night online, my sister got a call from a delivery guy and asked her some more info about their address, he must not be so familiar with the place. My sister told me that it was the delivery guy for the package that I sent to them. I was little surprise because I was expecting that it will arrive by the middle of January.

I was watching my family distributing what's in the package to whom it belonged. Because I put names most of all stuff that was in there. They were really happy, specially the kids. They kept saying "thanks" to me and hubby. It was just simple stuff but they are happy with it. Im glad that they like my first package, and Im excited to get more stuff for this second box that I got right now to send it there for this year. There is nothing can pay my happiness, just to see my loved ones happy and that also of course make my bana happy which makes everybody happy...Sha..la..la..LOL!

19 LCD

When I have nothing to do, I will immediately find something to do such as getting online, listening to music and watch tv before the anxiety strikes. I told my husband that it would be nice if we have tv in our bedroom so that I can just watch tv everytime I have hard time to fall asleep. I always look at in stores LCD tv's because they really look so cute to me but the price is unbelievable. But online, I found 19 LCD tv in UK which we can get cheap deals and great prices. We can compare and get the best prices on all new 19 inch LCD tv models. My hubby sure likes the idea because who doesn't love cheap deals?

Internet sure helps alot to people because we can just go online and look for the stuff that we want for very good deals that alot of times we dont found in stores.

Mountain House

Me and hubby always hear about this american guy who now lives in the Bohol, Philippines. According to our friends that they are very nice people specially the wife. So we decided to go visit Bohol and see this guy too. When we were getting close to the port, we saw a white house on top of the mountain. My hubby really liked the location, because he likes to be on top of the mountain/hill.

We never knew the exact location of that american that we wanted to see, we only knew the town. But thanks to our friends brothers, they drove us around and help us as much as they can. We told them that we wanted to go to that american on top of the hill, but they had no idea who's that person was. But they took us anyway to the place where there are some americans. We walked to the elevated hill since the pick up truck of our friend's mom couldn't drive up there because it is not a four wheel drive. But we stopped on the first gate because we just didnt want to get in without thier permission. So the nephew's owner came out and told us that his uncle is not around for he is in the states for vacation. The wife is not home too because she is a Barangay Captain and she had a meeting or something. But, his guy let us in anyway because he saw that my hubby is an american too like his uncle. He showed us around, give us some information about the places close by or other mountains. And we found out that there are alot of american's in that area, and there is German community too that is very exclusive for German's.

The place was just soo peacefull. I just love the moment we were there, because it is so overlooking and we could actually see the city of cebu. But anyway, we also found out that it was the house that we have seen when we were still on the boat. Hubby was so amazed on alot of things over there. Here are some pics:

Tonight I found out my present from hubby.. When I opened the box, I saw a brand name of a computer but hubby kept telling me that it's not computer, they just put it in that box so that the present looks big. But it is really a computer, and Im soo happy eventhough I didn't expect that.

Few months ago, I told my husband that we need a smaller laptop since we did alot of traveling and our laptop is too heavy to carry. And I didn't really think that thats what he is going to get for me as a christmas present. He probably get tired of waiting for me to get done with the laptop so that he can take over. Well,, we do have a desktop but laptop is alot better because we can just take it anywhere in the house specially in the living room where we spend most of the day time when we're home. Im so glad that this is what hubby got for me so that we can both get online together and next to each other. And also its gonna be handy for our next travel. So im soo happy with it!

Thanks to my hubby for giving me this present I really really appreciate it.

Surprise?

Me and Bana of my mine went to few stores yesterday because he was looking for something and he couldn't find. So, he just told me that we will just go to other town on the next day. I kept asking him what was he looking for? It's impossible that he couldn't find it because he went to few store already. But he still didn't tell me. So, I looked forward to go to the other town today. Then, I saw my husband dressed up, and I asked him if where is he going? He just told me that he is going down to the shop but I had doubt in my mind because when he goes to the shop he always wear working clothes but not today?.

After almost an hour since he left, I called him and asked him what time should we go to town? So that I could get ready ahead of time. But then I heard some noise on the background, I asked him again if he was in the coffee shop? And guess what he said? "No, Im in town." I was so shock because this is the very first time he went to town without me. He told me that we will talk latter when he gets home. But I kept bugging him why he didn't take me? what's the reason? And he finally told me that he is buying present for me. Im thinking, how sweet of this man! Maybe he learned from what I told him before, that I dont want him to ask me what should he buy for me. I dont wanna know in advance. Hhhmm... and this is what he is doing right at this hours.

I know for sure that Im gonna like whatever it is, at whatever cost! For me, as long as it is given heartily then thats the most pleases me.

Hate/Love Her

Last night, It happened that my husband and I talked about our monster school teacher back in our Island in Bohol. She is teaching 1st and 2nd grader, and she was my teacher too. I just remember alot of things about her. I remember that she was so mean to her students. As a first grader, we didn't know much. She teached us really really hard. First thing in the morning as soon as we get into the school, she would have us go outside and pull grass and do alot of cleaning outside. Then after that, we all go inside our classroom after flag ceremony and she would check our nails if it's dirty or not, she also looked for long nails or painted nails and then if she see one, she will hit our fingers with stick. Then, when she start discussing to us we must all listen because after than she will give us an exam and if we dont pass the exam she will have us sit on the air. Can you imagine sitting on the air? You'll stand on your toes, then knees are bend, your arms forward. Then our knees would start to shake and we get really sweaty. It was too bad really, its unthinkable discipline.

During our math subject, she will call us one by one and have us solve on problem solving on the blackboard. And if we dont know anything, she will pinch our groin, chicks, and her eyes would go really BIG! That big eyes alone scared the heck out of us!. But just to be honest, I loved that teacher after all. Because the meanier she showed us the more encouraged we are to study really hard so that we will not get spanked, pinched, etc. And I learned alot!! of that school teacher. Im proud to say that, I started to learn my english from her. Because I was so scared of her. Im not saying that I have perfect english, but I can speak good enough to communicate to english people.

Anyway, since our only school teacher in 1st and 2nd grader is so mean, my younger brother didn't go to that school. He went to the main island of Bohol instead and stayed with our aunt and then go back to our island when he was 3rd grader. But I dont know if that teacher still teaching at this time because my brother is now almost 17yrs old and she was getting old when my younger brother had to skip of her. But my husband and I have a plan to go visit that school teacher of mine next time we go back to Philippines, we didnt think about that before.

Lil-Cousins

The picture above are my nieces, named Blessa Marie the one in yellow top and Lovely Kate in brown. They are so sweet lil girls in their own lil ways. They both have a good heart too in different ways. Blessa Marie dont go to school at all because her parents are in the mission but Lovely Kate goes to private school to Baptist I think, since the Seventh Day Adventist church is too far from where they live.

I just so love to remember the moments that I spent with them specially every afternoon after church when everybody takes me home. These lil girls always requested me to ask them questions in English and whoever answer first will get the points. They both answered questions in almost the same time as soon as I finished my question. And then I encouraged them to do their best to say the answer very quickly. And then I noticed Blessa Marie just kept on answering so quickly. And her score was way ahead than Lovely kate. Lovely Kate then turned her back to Blessa Marie and when Blessa Marie noticed it then she quit answering me. Because she didnt like that her cousin will feel bad against her (watta sweet girl). She have given her cousin alot of chances to answer but Kate just didnt want to try to answer anymore because she knew that she was going to loose anyway. But even so, I love them both still because when Kate see me doing something she will just ask me if is there anything she can do for me? I love them being sweet to me in their differents ways.

Acne Problem

When I was in my teenage, alot of people complimented about my face. They said that I had a face like a baby, so soft. They kept asking me what did I put/use on my face to look that soft? Specially those teenagers that are friend of mine. They wanted to have a good looking skin and face to attract teenage men who always ignored them. My friends thought that they weren't pretty enough. But what can I tell them for Im not using anything special for my skin? They really thought I was just lieing them, but I wasn't.

But those were just an experienced having a good looking face. Because now that im in my early 20's and my life is soo busy now, I notice that I start getting acne. And I just dont like it at all. I dont even like to look at myself in the mirror. My husband likes to research on how to get rid of baby acne I know that it also bothers him. I showed him some pics of me when I single and now. I compared how my face look before and now. And the more he is encourage to get rid of this acne. He likes to feel my face, but its like a bumpy road mostly in my forehead. And it even get worst during my period. I am just so embarass about this. But I am not loosing hope to get rid of this. Alot friends told me that stress is one reason that can caused acne. So if stress is the reason, so getting plenty of rest could help. So far didnt work for me because eventhough my body is relax but mind travel so many miles per hour and I just couldn't help it. Well.. I will do what I have to do just to have a good looking skin again.

Salmon

Alaska is soo abundant of salmon. When we were there last summer, I just enjoyed the fishing everyday. Although my arms got soo sore at night from fishing but I still love to fish everyday. I just couldn't get enough of fishing. It was so fun catching those big salmons. I then started to like salmon that I never have eat before in my life.

I also enjoyed meeting my new relatives, some of them doesnt know to fish though but they love to eat salmon. Well,, its not a problem because I can fish their salmon for them.

It was so fun, eating around the big table with full of people (relatives). I felt more hungry if there are alot of people.. hehe. One time my sister in law asked my hubby what he wanted to eat? And he said he want bread, so I said" Why have bread when you can have a salmon? Am like hey this is alaska so abundant of salmon and we had so many salmon in freezer. So, lets eat it, its free!!

We had so much fun over there in Alaska, I also enjoyed the sceneric view. Hopefully we can come back this summer.

Love my Country

I grew up in one of the little islands in the Philippines. Although poor but no known problems back there. People there were just happy and satisfied with thier lifestyle (dont know any better life) but im still so proud with that island because, I learned alot of hard times over there.

Eventhough we're so poor but my parents managed to put us in school to do better in the future. In fact I think many people there were jelous to my parents because they were able to put us to school eventhough were just belong to the poorest people in the world. But, we had this good heart that whoever graduated and have a job will put the next younger ones to school too. So my parents didnt pay for everything. Im so proud with my older brother and sisters too. I just feel thier love for me. We feel love for each other. But anyway, at the age of around 13 or 14 I moved in to the city which another island but way bigger, to proceed my study and have more opportunity in the city than back in the island were I grew up.

Me and my family had commitment to help each other specially our parents. My parents are not helpless but we want them to enjoy life since they are getting older. Thats what I've always dream about, for my parents since I was little girl. And im glad that my older sisters and brother are doing better since they moved in to the city. Except for my oldest sister and brother in law who choosed to be a voluntary missionary of Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement (SDARM). They used to have small business and my sister had a good job but they quit eveything because they had to work saturday. Instead, they choose to be a voluntary missionary. They are very special people in my family. And im sure God is very happy of what they are doing. They have been doing this for so many years now eventhough not financially abundant but God didnt let them totally down.

Anyways, Im so proud about my country even it is just poor country but WE ARE SURVIVORS!! no one can beat that. Here is a picture of one of the island that I took when we were headed to Bohol island. I love the white beach even if this is not fully developed island.

Friend's Gift

Back in the Philippines, I met my friend named Milany and handed her the stuff she wanted from the US. She was very happy with it because according to her that she couldn't find those vitamins for her baby there in the Philippines. And she was happy of what she got for herself too because it was too cheap compare if she just buy it there. Because of course we didnt charge for the shipping and handling...lol. Just the original price.. she even got some discount for we bought it with discount.

She wanted to see me again before we fly back to the US, because she wanted to give me something. And really thought that she will give me some dried fish for thats what she was always asked me if eat alot of dried fish over here but I told her that I can buy in Filipino Store in the City. And she still kept telling me that she will give me something that why she wants to meet me again. But we got busy and so is she. And on the very last day she told me to just pick it up on the way to the aiport. And so, I got her gift for me. I had no time to look at it since she stapled it good.

When I got here in the US I was excited to see whats inside the paperbag. And when I opened it, I was really surprised because she give me some good dried fruits in a little package. I am soo happy of what she gave me. It really means alot to me and to out friendship. So, I thanked her right after she handed it to me and thanked her again when I saw whats inside. ANd she thanked me too for not changing our frienship. Friendship is the most important thing.

Jetlog

We had such a long flight, for we had 12 hrs laid over in Korea and 5 hrs in Seattle. Unlike last year that we just had 2hrs apart for every next flight. But felt like it was more tired than this time, because we got here in the morning, and had to stay awake till evening. But, I didnt get any jetlog though. But this time I obviously got jetlog because I was awake since 12midnight. And just cant go back to sleep. But in the Philippines we didnt have any jetlog at all. My husband is the same thing. He got up around 2am and cook some foods for today. And I finally got up for Im getting hungry trying to fall back to sleep.

Hoping to get over this very very soon.

Flight Story

I would say that we had a good flight because we made it here at home. Hehehe. But there are somethings that disappoint my hubby in the airplane. Because on our 4 and 1/2 hrs flight from Cebu to Korea, they serve meal but then for some reason everybody was eating but us. And then I told my husband that maybe they only feed the Koreans. Then the guy who served the drink asked us if dont we want breakfast? Then hubby told him like "I guess they dont want to feed us". So the guy went back and tell somebody. Hhhmm,, was thinking if it was discremanation or what? They finally feed us and apologized for the late meal.
In Korea, we had 12hrs lay over. So, we spent those hours in the hotel. We didnt understand the money over there, sounds so much but we had somebody converted it into dollars. Then I realized that its just like the Philippines, sounds off alot but then it cost few bucks only. But it still expensive since its in the airport, everything is expensive.
Was so glad when the plane landed in Seattle WA because the long flight was over, but had to wait 5hrs for out next 40minutes flight. I felt like its been so long since I slept but its not too bad at all compare to last time.
Well,, glad to back in the US but sad again to be away from my dear family. But that's life is. Looking forward to see them next year again and stay much much longer.
For my family, "I Love and Miss You so much guys keep doing what you doing now for Jesus, because He will be always watching us! ".

Going back to the US

Hahay! im soo sad at this moment because tonight is our flight going back to the US, for the month vacation is up. Which im not ready yet. When I think about being away from my family again, it makes me soo sad and cant help myself to cry, but I understand that that's life is, (pagkapait gayud...). But I have to be positive, thats my family always tells me. Since I am married to an American I must be strong, not to let this sad emotions eat me. The most famous word when my family and friends see me is " you are so skinny". Which I do believe that being in different world is one of the reason why I got so skinny. No matter how much I eat, I just dont gain any weight, which is a good thing.

Im gonna miss this hot weather in the Philippines because at this time it is soo COLD in our place. I need to adjust the weather again. But I didnt have any problem with the climate here in the Philippines eventhough I been through cold moments in the US but im still a Filipino. But, the other day when we went to Bohol I got runny nose, cough and headache also sinusitis attacked which was really bad. Cant look at the brightness outside. But I feel alot better now though, and my husband is now the one who dont feel really good which is too bad because we are going to have a long long flight back to the US.

ThanksGiving

If I am only in the US today, I would of celebrate my first year became a US resident. Last year, when I got in the US it was thanksgiving day. And I just remember the moment when I stepped out from the airport of Seattle to our next flight for Pasco, I was just frozen, so shock with the cold. It was last November 27, 2009. I just couldn't believe the coldness of the country. Plus I know I got there the in the wrong season. But God was there for me, Who helped me to be able to adjust the climate. I remember that I always had headache for my sinus attacked. I know by this times in WA is so cold already, it was even so cold when we flew for here in the Philippines. I had sinus attacked at the airport and had severe headache in the airplane, I didn't like to eat. But thanks to my hubby, he brought some Tylenol PM and it really helps my headache right away, and I was able to sleep in the plane too plus the flight was great.

But anyway, today is my second celebration of thanksgiving and my first thanksgiving here in the Philippines. Honestly, I didn't know what thanksgiving was all about. I may seen it on tv but I didn't really care about it. Well, few days ago, my girl friend had a cut out magazine of turkey and all the contacts. I was interested to let my family came over to have some turkey. But we got busy and I forgot to tell my family ahead of time and plus I thought thanksgiving is the 27th of November just like last year. So, yesterday my hubby showed me some newspapers with turkey infos and it says the 26th is the Buffet. So I started to get confuse why they will have the buffet on the 26th if it is for thanksgiving day? And you know yesterday was the 26th. My hubby started to asked me, " what day is today?" so I told him its thursday the 26th of November. And he said that its thanksgiving day then. Am like "what?" its not the 27th yet?. Then he told me that doesnt matter about the date, it is about the last thursday of november. I had no idea about it. I really thought that it is the 27th of November. So I started calling the outfit to order some turkey but it is too late for home delivery. But they have buffet somewhere in Lapu-lapu. And I didnt even think to go to the buffet because the way going to such place is very remote and I couldn't call my sister to borrow her multicab because my bro-in law is using it. But, we ended up joining our friends for thanksgiving and we had a good thanksgiving night.

2012

Back in the US I heard about the movie "2012" and it sound interesting. I was sad though because we were heading for Philippines, and I might mess the movie because it will show sometime in November 2009 in the US but I was wondering if I could see it here in the Philippines. I wanted to see the movie so bad, but we didnt have enough time to watch it in the US.

I have been waiting for this movie, and finally I have read on the news paper that it is showing in the theaters such us theaters in SM Mall. Since hubby was so bored, so he was excited to go to the mall when I told him and pretty sure that he was waiting for the movie too. We planned back in the US to take my parents with us in watching this movie to have more fun, but my father is on the Island since the other day and he will be back in the city by the end of this month. So we just went ahead and watched the movie, for I was worried that it might be over after few days of the show. And if it is still showing, we will take my parents and we have to watch it again or else we will find another suspense movie.

Well, I enjoyed my time in the theater because the movie was good and I had my loved one with me... lol. Anyway, 2012 movie is about the Mayan's prediction that the world will end by the 2012. All disasters will happen like never ever happen before. It was good watching, specially for the religious groups (like myself and family) who believe that everything has appointed time. All we can do is just to pray to our Heavenly Father to protect us. But, I dont believe in Mayan Calendars
