The breath-taking view

For the first time I felt excitement of my life here is the US when me and my husband went to Hud River to pick up the stuff that he bought online for his excavator. We drove 3 hrs & 1/2 minutes away from home just to pick up those stuff's. But I was glad that we did, for I have seen alot breath-taking view of WA though we were so tired but the nice view paid it, so it wasn't too bad after all. Even if my husband is having toothache but he still choose to drive to the place so that I can see some beauties of WA. That is sweet of him.

While he was driving I was taking pictures and I took good pics. But there are some things that I missed, the Deers. Even if my husband pointed it to me but I couldn't see it for the very first time. As we went on he have seen more Deers and I still couldn't see them, so my husband stopped along the road and never stop pointing it to me. And I finally saw it!!! no wonder why I couldn't see it, because the Deers is same color as a dirt of a mountain, and I had no idea what the Deer looks like. It was my first time saw a Deer. And of course it wouldn't be a perfect moment if I wouldn't take pictures of it.

When we got home I went through all the pics that I took and my husband really amazed how good the pics are but him and I picked the best pic of all...So far this is the best place I have ever seen..I hope that I'll some more latter on.

Ways to prevent headache

My husband let me read a health secrets book since I get headache more often. And I have learned some ways to prevent the attacts and this are the ff:
  • Maintain a regular schedule, eat at the same time each day. Keep consistent hours seven days a sweek.
  • Take vitamin supplements, Vitamin E consult the doctor for appropriate dosage.
  • Schedule "nurturing" time, anything you find enjoyable and relaxing.
  • Deep breathing: Loosen your clothing and sit in a quiet place.
  • Exercise regularly, physical activity relieves stress and boosts levels of endorphins, the body's pain-relieving chemicals.
And most likely the causes of this headache are the ff:
  • Alcohol (specially beer and red wine).
  • Erratic meal and/ or sleep schedules.
  • The artificial sweetener aspartame (NutraSweet).
  • The flavor enhancer monosudium glutamate ( MSG ).
  • Processed meats and other foods containing the preservatives nitrates or nitrities.
  • Aged cheeses, freshly baked bread, chopped liver and other foods that contain the amino acid tyramine....and chocolate, which contains phenylethylamine.
  • Perfume or cigaratte smoke.
  • Caffeine withdrawal. To avoid trouble, its best to have no more than one five-ounce cup of coffee a day.
  • Psychological stress. Most migraines occur when the period of stress is over.

I followed yesterday some ways to prevent headache and it seems to be working, im looking forward for more good effects. Because this headache is just killing me. For those having the same problem hope that you'll take your time to read this maybe this preventive way of headache will help you coz I know how bad the feelings of having headache (I hate it for sure).

First Winter in my Life Ever

I was kinda excited to see the snow and find out how cold is it in the US for my husband kept telling when I was still in the Phils that I dont know what cold is. And now that im here, my wonders are answered. And I find out that I dont really like the winter for it is just so cold, and I get alot of headache and I believe that winter most probably caused it. I just get headache atleast 3 times a week and its the worst headache I've ever had. Another reason why im not liking the winter because I cant get outside the house as much as I want too for my butt will freeze!!! I want to be able to go outside, make a garden and have fun. Unlike staying inside the house I get bored and homesick. Sometimes I ask my husband that we will go some places that can help my boredness or homesick ness. But cant do it alot for as what I have said its very cold and I don't like to hang around to freeze myself.

Last sunday, me and husband went out of town and we watched movie and had fun.

Im missing the summer so bad!!! I think ill feel alot better on summer time but have to wait for few more months.

Im back

I have been so very busy for the past few months coz of medical and interview preparation. Thank goodness everything went fine and I got my visa last Nov. 12, 2008. And I got here in the US last Nov. 27th, 2008 but still busy even I got visa already coz I have to adjust my conditional residency into unconditional or permanent resident. Now, im working on it to be able to adjust my status before it expire. And it'll expire this April 22, 2009. So have to process it as fast as I can so that they wouldn't send me back home(deported).

Anyway, so far im doing good in this new country (USA)...But it's so cold here. I always get headache. On my few steps at the airport of Seattle Wa, I was really shock for I couldn't move feet for it's so cold. I felt like I was frozen, I had my husband to hold me to be able to walk around. When I was still in the Phils. I knew it's cold here in the US but I didn't realize that it is as cold as this. I thought I knew what cold was when we went to Baguio,, known as the coldest place in the Phils. but it is not even close here.

For right now, im still adjusting of everything here in the US for it's totally different from home. Every now and then I get homesick all I do i cry and cry. But I hope that ill get over it oneday.
